অর্থনীতি:- অর্থনীতি বা অর্থশাস্ত্র সামাজিক বিজ্ঞান এর একটি শাখা যা পণ্য এবং সেবার উৎপাদন, সরবরাহ, বিনিময়, বিতরণ এবং ভোগ ও ভোক্তার আচরণ নিয়ে আলোচনা করে। সম্পদ সীমিত কিন্তু চাহিদা অফুরন্ত– এই মৌলিক পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে সম্পদের সর্বোচ্চ ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করা অর্থনীতির প্রধান উদ্দেশ্য৷ অর্থনীতি শব্দটি ইংরেজি ‘Economics’ শব্দের প্রতিশব্দ।

Resources are limited but demand is endless, The main objective of the economy is to ensure maximum utilization of resources in this fundamental context The word economy is synonymous with the English word ‘Economics’.
